Journal publication fees
No fees are charged to researchers from Al-Furat University (faculty or technical staff) who submit research (individually or collectively) for publication in any of Al-Furat University's series.
A fee of 500 Syrian Pounds (SYP) (five hundred new Syrian Pounds or its equivalent) is charged to faculty or technical staff from other public universities, the Syrian Virtual University, Syrian private universities, and researchers from institutes affiliated with the Higher Education Council.
No fees are charged to postgraduate students registered with Al-Furat University. However, a fee of 500 SYP (five hundred new Syrian Pounds or its equivalent) is charged to postgraduate students registered at other public universities, even if their co-supervisor is from Al-Furat University, and to students registered at the Syrian Virtual University.
No fees are charged to teaching assistants registered at Al-Furat University, whether on internal or external scholarships. If the submitted research is a joint effort between a faculty member and a researcher at a research center within Syria, no fees will be charged, provided that the research is explicitly stated to be conducted on behalf of Al-Furat University and that the primary researcher is designated as an Al-Furat University affiliate.
A fee of $50 (fifty US dollars only) is required from Arab and foreign researchers wishing to publish in the Al-Furat University Journal. This fee must be deposited into a dedicated Al-Furat University account.
The payment receipt must be presented when submitting the research to the journal along with the required publication documents.
Researchers whose work is accepted for publication in the Al-Furat University Journal will receive a publication bonus in accordance with Decree 342 of 2022.
