Terms of Publication

Research Paper Requirements
1. The submitted research paper must be original and as concise as possible, written in Simplified Arabic font, size 13 for Arabic text, and Times New Roman font, size 12 for foreign language text. The printed paper should be no less than 18 pages and no more than 30 pages, including tables and figures.

2. The research paper should be written in single spacing with 3 cm margins.

3. The research title must be concise and accurately reflect the content of the research. It should be followed by an abstract in Arabic, not exceeding 300 words, and another abstract in a living foreign language. If the submitted research is written in a living foreign language, an abstract must be provided in Arabic only. Each abstract should be on two separate pages, each including the research title, the name and academic title of the researcher, the academic institution they work for, and their contact address in both Arabic and the foreign language. Keywords should follow each abstract on the same page.

4. The research must follow the following order: Abstract in the language in which the research is written (Arabic or English), followed by the research keywords. Alternatively, the abstract in another language can be followed by the research keywords in that language. The body of the research consists of: (Introduction and Literature Review, Research Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, and finally, References). All pages of the research must be numbered.

5. Tables must be numbered according to their appearance in the research and provided with their titles at the top. An explanation of the symbols used in the table must be provided at the bottom, and the reference must be included if taken from a recognized source.

6. Figures must be numbered according to their appearance in the research and provided with their titles at the bottom. An explanation of the symbols used in the figure must be provided at the bottom, and the reference must be included if taken from a recognized source. 7. References: References should be arranged in one of the following two ways, depending on whether they appear in the text or in the bibliography:

A - In the text:
1- The author's name, year of publication, and page number (from right to left for Arabic references and from left to right for foreign language references) are listed.

2- When there is more than one researcher, the first researcher's name is listed, followed by "et al." and the year of publication. For Arabic references, the page number is listed from right to left, and for foreign language references, the researcher's name is followed by "et al." in italics, and then the year of publication (from left to right).
Example: (Omran, 2018 (25); (Khalifa et al., 2019, 64); Petersen, 2015, 559);

(Grass et al., 2019, 75)

3- If a researcher or reference is cited at the beginning of a paragraph or sentence, or if an author is mentioned for a unique idea or innovation, the author's name is written followed by the year. The page number is in parentheses: Example: Abdel-Moaty (2020, 25; Abdel-Moaty et al. 2019 (66); Gessler (42, 1990); Grass et al. 2019, 17).

4. If no author is listed: The first two words of the article title (year of publication, page number).

5. If the same author has more than one source, and both sources were published on the same date, place the letter 'A' after the first source and the letter 'B' after the second source to distinguish between them. For example: Al-Saeed (1999) - 'A' and Al-Saeed (1999) - 'B'. The source marked with 'A' will have its title listed alphabetically before the title of the second source in the bibliography.

The source marked with 'A' will have its title listed alphabetically before the title of the second source. 6. If there are fewer than six authors, write their names separated by commas and place the letter "و" (waw) before the last author's name. If there are more than six, write the first author's surname followed by "و غيرون" (wa-and-others).

7. To explain or clarify an ambiguous term or concept, use footnotes within the text. Number the term above the footnote, and provide an explanation or definition at the bottom of the page. For example: "Agricultural Statistics." The meaning of the term "agricultural statistics" is explained at the bottom of the page (footnote) in 12-point font.

B. In the bibliography: Sources in the research are documented according to the APA style (American Psychological Association). The following order should be followed:

1. Number the reference as it appears in the text.

2. When documenting books:

If the book has a single author: (Last name, First name. (Year of publication) Title of the book (underlined). Edition number (if available). City: Country. Publisher. Pages: (Al-Jabri, Muhammad Abed (2001)). The Arab Moral Mind, 2nd ed., Beirut, Lebanon: Center for Arab Unity Studies, p. 317.

For books with two or more authors, up to six, we follow the previous system, but we place a comma followed by the conjunction "and" before the name of the last author. The authors' names are listed according to their order of appearance on the book's cover or title page.
