Authors' Affiliation Guidelines
Author Information and Institutional Affiliation Guidelines
To ensure accurate indexing and archiving in global scientific databases, authors must strictly adhere to the following formatting standards for the manuscript’s title page:
1. Affiliation Structure
Affiliation data must be presented in ascending order (from specific to general) as follows:
Academic Rank, Department, Faculty, University, City, Country.
2. Multi-Authored Manuscripts
-
Reference Numbers: Use numerical superscripts (1, 2) immediately following each author's name to link them to their respective institutional affiliations.
-
Multiple Affiliations: If an author holds more than one affiliation, all relevant institutions must be listed using corresponding reference numbers.
3. Corresponding Author
-
Identification: The author responsible for correspondence must be marked with an asterisk (*) next to their name.
-
Contact Information: The official institutional email address of the corresponding author must be provided below the affiliation section.
-
Multiple Correspondents: If there is more than one corresponding author, multiple asterisks (*, **) may be used, with each email explicitly identified.
4. Nomenclature and Standardization
-
University Names: Institutions must be written in English according to their official registered nomenclature (e.g., Al-Furat University or Damascus University).
-
Official Email: Use of a formal institutional email (e.g., @university.edu) is mandatory to verify institutional credibility.
5. Technical Formatting Requirements
-
Typography: Author names must be formatted in Bold.
-
Placement: Affiliation numbers must be in Superscript.
-
Layout: Each distinct affiliation must be presented on a separate line for clarity.
-
ORCID iD: Inclusion of the ORCID iD is highly recommended for all authors to ensure global research visibility.
