Al-Furat University Journal of Research and Scientific Studies (FUJRS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published on a quarterly basis by Al-Furat University, Deir ez-Zor, Syrian Arab Republic. The journal serves as a leading scientific platform dedicated to disseminating original and high-quality research contributions from scholars both within Syria and internationally, adhering to the highest standards of academic integrity and scholarly excellence.
Open Access Statement
FUJRS is fully committed to the principles of Open Access publishing. All research articles and studies published in the journal are made freely and permanently available online to readers and researchers immediately upon publication, without financial, legal, or technical barriers. The journal believes that unrestricted access to scientific knowledge fosters global knowledge exchange, increases citation opportunities, and advances innovation and scholarly inquiry worldwide.
Open Access and Licensing Policy
All articles published in FUJRS are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). Under this license, any individual may copy, redistribute, and build upon the published content for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original source and any derivative works are licensed under identical terms.
Authors retain full intellectual property rights over their published works. Upon acceptance, authors grant FUJRS the right of first publication only. All published articles are governed by the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license, which permits others to share, redistribute, and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes, subject to appropriate attribution and the application of the same license to any derivative work.

Digital Preservation Policy
FUJRS employs the PKP Preservation Network to ensure the long-term digital archiving of all published content. The network operates on the basis of LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) technology, maintaining multiple distributed copies of published articles to guarantee permanent and uninterrupted access, even in the event of server failure or service interruption.
Retraction and Corrections Policy
FUJRS is committed to the highest standards of research integrity in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). In the event that errors, misconduct, or other integrity concerns are identified in published articles, the journal follows the procedures outlined below:
Correction (Erratum/Corrigendum): Formal correction notices, electronically linked to the original article, are published when minor errors are identified that do not affect the core findings or conclusions of the research.
Retraction: An article will be retracted upon confirmed evidence of plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, duplicate publication, undisclosed conflicts of interest, or fundamental errors that invalidate the principal conclusions of the research.
Retracted articles are retained on the journal website and clearly marked as "RETRACTED," including the date of retraction and the reason, in order to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.

Scope and Publication Languages
FUJRS welcomes original research contributions across all scientific disciplines. The journal accepts manuscripts in the following languages:
Arabic, English, and French.
All published articles must include an abstract of 150–200 words in a language other than that of the main manuscript.
Peer Review and Research Integrity Policy
Confidential Double-Blind Review: All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process conducted by a minimum of two independent specialists in the relevant field, ensuring full anonymity of both authors and reviewers.
Originality and Integrity: The journal is firmly committed to intellectual property rights and employs specialised similarity-detection software to screen all submissions. All editorial practices adhere to the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Author Rights: Upon acceptance, authors receive an official Letter of Acceptance, together with article offprints following publication.
